The tablet is the result of our work with a variety of software developers and manufacturers in several countries. The main goal was to create a tablet that functions as a sales and marketing tool for our members.
The purpose of the tablet, which will come preloaded with a variety of business-purposed applications and software, is to allow our members to access their accounts and businesses online while on the go.

Think for one second – what would you do if you didn’t have a website?
You’d own a storefront business and interact with customers during your business hours. When the day was over, if a customer wanted to get in touch with you – or purchase your product or service – they would have to wait until the next day.

- Content makes sense and contains no spelling errors
- Tells the story about the business
- Gives the visitor a sense of comfort and belief
- Contains your thoughts on why you’re in business
- Closes with a positive idea and contact information
- Pictures of your products or services are clear and bright
- Descriptions of products are concise and informative
- Return policies and customer service policies are clearly stated
- All phone numbers are correct and directions for dialing are posted
- Email links are correct and work
- Address is listed correctly, along with map location
- Forms load correctly on the page

If you’re a business owner, you know that the year is usually divided into four quarters, and now that August is over, there is only one full quarter left in 2011!
That’s hard to believe, since it seems that only yesterday we were wishing everyone Happy New Year and embarking on a journey that would take all of us into new and exciting stages in our lives.

Now that the final quarter is less than 30 days away, it’s time to take a look at these three months and get a plan together for taking advantage of the busy holiday selling season, and ending 2011 on a high note!
First, remember that even though it’s warm outside, December will be here soon with all of its festive celebrations. Have you checked your stock and orders from last year to see how you compare to this year? You don’t want to get caught with too many orders and not enough products.
You should also think about the months leading up to December and how to best communicate to your audience and loyal customers.
Are you going to run pre-holiday sales to get the idea planted in their heads?
What about a special 90-day event that creates interest each week heading up to the last month?
Now is also an excellent time to look at your marketing and advertising budget to see what’s left. Depending upon how you’ve planned, you may want to spend less in September so you can dedicate more dollars to buying ads and marketing in late October into November.

When you’re running an online business you have to remember that appearance counts, so make sure your first impression is the best!
Let’s take a look at your digital storefront. In many cases it’s going to be the landing page that shows up after a search engine query. Studies say there’s about 8 seconds you have before the choice is made!
Review your landing page and see if it meets these criteria:
- Two to three attractive, bold colors
- Headlines and body copy are easy to read, not too big or too small
- Graphics are professional and appealing
- Design is clean and interesting
- User knows where to make the next logical step
If your website didn’t meet all of these points, it’s wise to go back and make the necessary changes. Remember, the competition is only a click away! If you’re unsure of how to make the changes, hire a web site designer who can show you how to get the page displaying correctly.
Remember to pay attention to the content on the page. Is the writing clear and concise, but informative? Does it urge the reader to take action? Remember, good copy takes advantage of strong, action-oriented verbs.

Finally, before you publish your site don’t forget to check any hotlinks that you might have on the page. If you put an email link or page link on your contact page, it’s vital that it works.
